Sevastopol. The Best.

Duration: 4-5 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - city downtown - Sevastopol harbour tour (depends on weather) - St. Vladimir Cathedral - Panorama museum - Archaeological Preserve "Chersonesus of Taurica"

Strolling Nakhimov Sq. & Primorsky Boulevard including photo stop of the legendary monument to the Scuttled Ships that is the symbol of our city and Count's Landing Stage - the grand sea gates to the city. During boat tour you'll see one of the world's biggest harbours and see the warships of the Ukrainian and Russian Navies and also feel the depth of the marine soul of Sevastopol. You'll visit St. Vladimir Cathedral - burial vault of the famous Russian admirals and Panorama "The Defense of Sevastopol, 1854-1855" - it is considered to be a unique masterpiece of battle-painting and is the special pride of Sevastopol people. During the visit to Archaeological Preserve "Chersonesus of Taurida" you'll see the Greek nook on Sevastopol land with the ruins of the ancient Greek city.


Secrets of Sevastopol & Balaklava

Duration: 5 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - city downtown - Sevastopol harbour tour (depends on weather) - Balaklava - Naval Museum complex "Balaklava"

You'll stroll city downtown, see Count's Landing Stage, Monument to the Scuttled Ships. Admire spectacular views and picturesque harbours during the boat tour. During the visit to Balaklava you'll see the harbour of Symbols, glorified by Homer in his famous "Odyssey". You can also imagine being James Bond, when exploring the former top secret submarine repairing facility inside the rock on the shore of the Balaklava Harbour. Use a unique chance and visit Objective 825 (Naval Museum complex "Balaklava" in submarine pen), a naval fortification masterpiece that used to be an inaccessible top secret facility.

Visit to the Black Sea Fleet Museum is also possible as optional.

Sevastopol in the Crimean War

Duration: about 8 hours
Itinarary: Alma Battlefield including Alma memorial Complex, Inkerman Battlefield, Balaklava, Balaklava battlefield, Sapoun Hill, Malakhov Hill, Panorama museum.

You'll start from the visit to the Alma battlefield. You will see the Obelisk in commemoration of all who perished in the battle of the Alma; Common graves on the Great Redoubt site; the Monument to the Vladimirsky regiment infantrymen; the memorial sarcophagus where 7 officers of the 23rd Welsh Fusiliers were buried.
After that the visit to the "soldier's" battlefield of Inkerman with stops: at St Clement's Monastery in Inkerman with a panoramic view of Inkerman battlefield, Quarry Ravine, St Clement's Ravine, Sandbag Battery & on the Shell Hill with the view of the battlefield from the side of the British positions.
Visit to Balaklava town - British base during the war.

Drive to the Balaklava Battlefield with en route stops:
  • at the Monument of Reconciliation of the countries-participants of the Crimean War;
  • on the Sapoune Heights at Lord Raglan's viewpoint during the Balaklava Battle with the view of the whole Balaklava Valley ("Valley of Death"), the sites of the Heavy Brigade Charge, "Thin Red Line" of the 93rd Highlanders, the Charge of the Light Brigade;
  • at the British Monument in Balaklava Valley;
Continue to legendary Malakhov Hill - one of the most important Russian bastions from the Crimean War period. The visit to White Defensive Tower is possible.
Visit to Panorama "Defense of Sevastopol 1854-1855".
The visit to the Black Sea Fleet Museum is possible as well as to the Russian Common cemetery on the Northern Side of the city.

It's a full-day tour that can be changed by your request.


Sevastopol in the World War II

Duration: about 5-6 hours
Itinarary: Sapun Hill - Diorama museum - cape Chersonesus - German monument of the Reconciliation - Soviet coastal battery # 35 - Crystal cape (Khrustalnyi) - Black Sea Fleet Museum - city downtown.

You'll visit Sapun Hill Memorial Complex, World War II battlefield, including Diorama "The Assault of the Sapun Hill, May, 7, 1944", display of weapons, Obelisk of Glory with Eternal flame. Drive to cape Chersonesus. A visit to the 35th coastal battery (Maxim Gorky II) museum. Drive to Crystal cape, photostop of the Monument to Heroic Soldier & Sailor overlooking the entrance into the main Sevastopol Harbour and Constantine Coastal Battery. Visit to the Black sea Fleet museum. Strolling Nakhimov Sq. & Primorsky Boulevard including photo stop of the legendary monument to the Scuttled Ships that is the symbol of our city and Count's Landing Stage - the grand sea gates to the city.

Visit to German cemetery in the village of Goncharnoye is possible as optional.


Ancient Bakhchisaray and Assumption Cave Monastery

Duration: 5 hours
Itinarary: Sevastopol - Bakhchisaray - Khan's Palace - Assumption Cave Monastery

In Bakhchisaray ("the city in the garden") you'll visit the former residence of Crimean Khans - Khan's Palace - that is a vivid example of Tatar culture. You'll see palace buildings, the Falcon Tower, Great Khan Mosque, the harem buildings, the Fountain Patio with Fountain of Tears glorified in poetic lines of Alexander Pushkin.
In a few km from the Palace you'll visit Assumption cave Monastery (8-9 c A.D.) Dating from the Middle Ages are: Virgin Maria Saint Icon on a rock, the Assumption of the Virgin Maria cave church, the cave cells, etc. Visitors climb up to the monastery premises, cut in the rock, and get a spectacular view of the environs.

Visit to the cave-city Chufut-Cale is also available as well as Tatar lunch in the national style.


Crimean Riviera (Yalta tour)

Duration: 9 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - Laspy mountain pass - Resurrection Church in Foros photo stop - Alupka Palace - Swallow's Nest observation platform - Livadia Palace -Yalta - Sevastopol

During this wonderful tour you'll admire the beautiful coastline and lovely scenery of green rocky cliffs. You'll see the Resurrection Church in Foros located on the peak of the rock. Visit the Palace of Count Voronzov in Alupka. It was designed by Edward Blore, one of the architects of Buckingham Palace. In 1945 the palace was used by Winston Churchill who stayed here during Yalta Conference. Make a photo-stop on the observation platform, overlooking the graceful Swallow's Nest castle located on the rock overhanging the sea. This castle with towers and spires has become a true symbol of the Crimea. Next you will continue to: the Livadia Palace, the former summer residence of Czar Nicholas II. In February, 1945, world famous Yalta Conference was held in Livadia Palace. You'll see the White Hall where the historic meetings between Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill were held.

Temptation by grand spectacle

Duration: 9-11 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - Karolezskaya (Sphinx) Valley - village Sokolinoye - Grand Crimean Canyon (by request. Walking tour takes about 4 hours) - Waterfall Silver Spurts - top of Ai-Petri mountain - view-point Silver Pavilion - waterfall Uchan-Su - Yalta (by request) - Sevastopol

While driving you'll enjoy fascinating views of the most beautiful Crimean valleys - Balaklava, Karolezskaya, Belbek. Weathering figures, unexpected rocks, green hills, spicy air - it's Crimean country side. Not far from Sokolinoye village you'll admire waterfall Silver Spurts (superb in March, April, May, June). One-way walking distance from the road to the waterfall is about 1 km. Walk along Grand Crimean Canyon is possible (4 hours walking). Driving up Ai-Petry mount along serpentine road (the Northern slopes). Stop nearby the magic spring with the elixir of life and water that helps to heal the wounds. Admiring breathtaking view of the Southern Coast of the Crimea from the top of Ai-Petri. Tatar lunch. On the way down (the Southern slopes) photostop nearby the Silver Pavilion (observation point). Admiring the highest in Europe waterfall Uchan-Su (98 m). Possible to visit Yalta downtown. Driving back to Sevastopol along the coastal road.

Full-day tour to Yevpatoria

Duration: about 9 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - Yevpatoria - Sevastopol

It usually takes about 2 hours to get to Yevpatoria. On the way it's possible (depends on interest) to visit Alma Battlefield Memorial Complex on the site of the Battle of Alma (Crimean War) and the site of British, French and Turkish landing operation in 1854.

Eupatoria sightseeing tour includes:
remains of ancient Kerkinitida defensive wall; St.Nicholas' the Miracle Worker Cathedral, the Medieval Dzhuma-Dzhami Mosque; Karaite Kenassa - the Medieval architectural masterpiece and the Crimean Karaims spiritual centre; the only in the Crimea Moslem Monastery (Dervish Tekije). The Crimean Karaite cuisine lunch in the Karaite Kenassa.

Visit to Yevpatoria Ethnographic Museum is possible as optional.


Full-day tour to Feodosia

Duration: about 9-10 hours
Itinerary: Sevastopol - Simferopol - Feodosia - Sevastopol

It usually takes about 3 hours to get to Feodosia, one of the oldest cities in the Crimea.

Feodosiya city tour includes:
a visit to the Genoese fortress of Kaffa (citadel, defensive walls, St. Constantine tower, Pope Clement's V tower, Nameless tower, Dock Tower, Genoese Bridge, Krisco (Lavani) tower, Jovanni di Skaffa tower).

A visit to Armenian Church.

Photostops of wonderful Feodosia fountains. A visit to the Feodosiya Art Gallery, a superb display of canvases by Aivazovsky, the European biggest seascape painting collection.


Welcome to Donkeys' Farm!

Only 1 hour driving time - and you are in a spectacular Karalez Valley. The only in Ukraine Donkey farm is located here, at the foot of fantastic mountains.

You'll take part in merry donkey riding tour and see also wild and domestic animals. A lot of surprises are waiting for you! Hiking tour is also possible as well as picnic near the lake or Crimean Tatar lunch at the Tatar restaurant. You've never been on such visits!!
